Lifetime warranty for brake & clutch lever and rearsets
MG Biketec stands for the highest quality, precise workmanship, and durable products. Therefore, in addition to the statutory 24-month warranty, we offer a limited lifetime warranty on our MG Biketec brake and clutch levers and footrest systems.
The lifetime warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and to the original motorcycle for which the MG Biketec product was purchased and properly installed.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. After inspecting the returned product, MG Biketec will determine the next steps. In the event of a warranty claim, our service is limited, at our sole discretion, to repairing or replacing the defective product with a product from the current MG Biketec product range.
Excluded from the warranty:
These issues can arise, for example, from weather conditions, road conditions, lack of maintenance, and extreme heat or cold.
The warranty is also void in the event of damage or alterations caused by accidents, improper or abusive use, incorrect installation, modifications to the product, or use other than as intended.
The warranty applies exclusively to MG Biketec products with road approval. Racing parts and street-legal products used in racing are excluded from the lifetime warranty.
The costs for removing and reinstalling MG Biketec products are also not covered.
Handling a Warranty Claim
If you experience a problem with an MG Biketec product, its installation, or its function, please first contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product.
If a return to MG Biketec is necessary, please coordinate this with your retailer beforehand. For prompt processing, we require the relevant purchase information and the invoice number.
If returning the product directly to MG Biketec, please include a copy of the invoice, your contact information, and a brief description of the problem. The goods must be carefully packaged and adequately protected against damage during transport. The sender is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Important Notes
The lifetime warranty is only valid if a corresponding material or manufacturing defect is found upon inspection of the returned product.
Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, inconvenience, or other costs exceeding the legally required obligations is excluded under this warranty.
The statutory 24-month warranty remains unaffected by this voluntary lifetime warranty.
The warranty is void if the product is modified or used for purposes other than those intended.
The lifetime warranty applies exclusively to products of the MG Biketec brand and not to products manufactured by MG Biketec on behalf of third parties.
MG Biketec GmbH reserves the right to assess warranty claims after reviewing each individual case.
